We visited St. Anthony last year as part of an RV tour and stayed at the Triple Falls Campground, toured St. Anthony with Danny's Tours, visited the Viking settlement, etc. But my husband and I wanted to do some bicycling on an "open" day. We bicycled from the campground and stopped at the Town Hall for some help and received lots of information! Cycled to the lighthouse, asked a stranger parked there if he would take a photo, he did, we then met the lighthouse keeper, also a nice visit and conversation. Continued on, rode our bicycles as far as we could on a paved road leading up to the top of a hill (forget the name) with all the steps, hiked to the top and saw the steps from there. Went to a gift shop and found the perfect souvenirs, as we had mentioned to a woman at the Town Hall we were looking for a miniature Viking ship and she suggested that place. Found it! Anyway, just wanted to let you know how much we loved your community. I doubt we will ever get back to Newfoundland, but our memories of St. Anthony, with all your friendly people, stand out. I have attached a copy of our Christmas card from last year, thanks to that "stranger" gentleman parked at the lighthouse. Thanks again for your help. I'm enjoying looking at your web site!

I was at the Grenfell Hospital in the early '50's at about age 13.I met some very nice people from St. Anthony and surrounding area. My Father worked for the Grenfell Mission in Northwest River. I plan on revisiting St. Anthony soon.

Hello!
I visited St. Anthony during the last two years to make a movie about Newfoundland. For me, it was a very nice place and I remember very often about this nice place. But we have had no luck with icebergs. I was too early last year and too late in this year. So I hope to come again to see the white giants.
